About Us - Our Mission Statement
To be a people-activated force for change. We strive to develop the best care team in Redding. Through our time, love, and presence, we aim to impact the lives of our elderly residents by seeking the person within and drawing them out through engaging activities, love and companionship. We focus on seeing the heart, not just behavior, and respond with empathy rather than reaction. Our team is constantly learning and evolving, fostering open communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Our goal is to provide the best quality of living for our residents, in order to achieve this level of care we need the best of the best. All of our staff go through a detailed background check and are well qualified for their positions.
Every professional we bring into the Serenity Gardens family is someone we believe to have dedication and integrity, with compassion, respect, and loving heart for the elderly.
Staff training is comprehensive and focused on life histories, individual interests and needs, dietary preferences, and of course, specific healthcare requirements.

We have on-site hospice care for up to seven patients in addition to being partnered with Mercy Hospice.
We have trained personnel to care for residents with Alzheimers and dementia.
We have fifteen large semi-private shared rooms with personal bathrooms and beds.

Lovely vegetable and flower gardens for residents to enjoy visually or as active participants.
